Retractable cameras are not new but after the age of the notch, people are looking forward where will that camera and sensor hole can be placed to maximize the screen space. Recently Vivo launched the V15 and V15 Pro as their flagship phone.
The latest Vivo phone was introduced in the launch last week boasting its design, function, and capacity. Both has the 32MP elevating selfie camera and only activates on selfie mode.
One of the difference between the two are the three rear camera quality which has 12MP + 8MP + 5MP for the V15, and 48MP + 8MP + 5MP for the V15 Pro. They also has distinct casing design yet similar structure for both of them.
Now they have removed the selfie camera for the screen, they also made a way for the front light sensor which is now embedded under the screen whcih does not affect the display quality. This brings the screen at its maximum viewing surface. It also keeps the Vivo technology of with the in-display fingerprint scanner which now more improved compared to the V11.
Both have upgrades compared with the Vivo V11 and V11 Pro in terms of memory and RAM and is improving on their game UI (Game Mode 5.0 ) for the V15 Pro which target gamer customers which is a growing market right now.

Now the question now is will the retractable selfie camera will be a hit. This is one is similar case is the OPPO Find X which has as sliding camera but this only works with the selfie camera and definitely much more affordable. Also people are still concerned that the camera might fall out or damaged with daily use.
But Vivo assured that they have tested this design and assures the public that it is tough enough for everyday use even by the selfie-driven generation.
The Vivo V15 has a retail price in the Philippines of P17,999 while the V15 Pro is at P23,999.
