Filipino online gaming personalities Buunja, Cherizawa, and ONIC PH on what makes them play well, and why it’s the Infinix NOTE 12 PRO 5G

All online gamers know one thing to be true when it comes to playing and winning in their favorite games—teamwork is an absolute must.

Most of the online games currently gripping the nation are team-based, so whether you’re playing as a duo, trio, four-stack, or five-stack, you’ve got to fully know your individual role and play with your teammates well so your team can win. No one knows this concept best than five of the most well-known Filipino online gaming personalities today: popular streamers Buunja and Cherizawa, and pro esports players Rapidoot, Ryota, and Super Frince from top-ranked team ONIC PH.

Teamwork is the key to peak performance

“Support player ako, kasi mahilig ako magprotect ng teammates ko,” said Buunja. The streamer, who has an astounding 1.7 million followers on Facebook, also likes to support her viewers by constantly offering cash giveaways on her regular streams, as she feels they also deserve these blessings. “Mahilig din ako mang-trip sa mga kakampi ko, but at the same time, kapag tinatrashtalk na kami, nagtatry hard na ako.”

Meanwhile, Cherizawa describes herself as more of an initiator who starts crucial team fights. “Gusto ko ako yung nagi-initiate. Mas nakakachallenge kasi mas mahirap yung role,” she says. She’s also incredibly patient with teammates, which has definitely led her to big wins; now she can say that she’s achieved some of her big dreams, like finally owning her dream car. “My strength siguro is my patience. Kahit medyo malas sa PUBG Mobile, I also take every game slowly–less mistakes, more chances para manalo.”

As an actual team, the boys of ONIC naturally fill different roles. Ryota and Rapidoot fancy themselves as aggressive players to press the advantage and promote good play, while Super Frince is the more cautious one on the team.

However, they all agree on the value of great team chemistry–which results in the famous ONIC Magic, the magical performance that their fans totally love every time they step in the arena.

Other personal hacks also make an impact

Of course, while teamwork is essential, individual performances also make up important parts of good team play. The personalities also have their own particular techniques and hacks that help them in the heat of the game.

For Buunja, powder helps her hands and fingers stay dry, which in turn help her make fewer mistakes.

Cherizawa, on the other hand, has developed a unique playstyle in which she prefers using her index finger on the touchscreen, instead of the usual thumb gaming. “Most players use their thumbs as their main finger, but I use index–mas mabilis ang reflexes ko with it,” she says.

Meanwhile, the ONIC crew prefers to keep their secret techniques hidden. That’s understandable, as their personal advantages are crucial regarding the high stakes of pro esports games.

A solid and high-performing gaming smartphone brings it all together

Perhaps the other and most important thing that all of these personalities can agree on when it comes to being good at mobile gaming is the need for a smartphone that can absolutely keep up.

ONIC knows for sure that a solid smartphone can spell the difference between winning and losing.

The streamers agree with the boys’ assessment. “Gusto ko yung may magandang chipset at battery life,” says Buunja.

“Ang magandang phone, big enough yung screen for visibility, walang lag at super smooth–syempre maganda rin tingnan, para gaming with style,” says Cherizawa.

And for a gaming smartphone that can handle all of their gaming needs, all of them trust Infinix’s brand-new NOTE 12 PRO 5G. It utilizes the super-fast speeds of 5G mobile internet through its 6nm 5G processor and the capacity of its 13GB Super RAM to provide gamers smooth and lag-free gaming, leading to peak performance in their favorite titles, including PUBG Mobile.

Gamers can already get their hands on the Infinix NOTE 12 PRO 5G and feel the peak performance that 5G internet can provide. It’s now available in Snowfall and Force Black colors for a suggested retail price of P12,499 at stores nationwide, as well as Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
