Geeks on a Beach 2025 Launches AI-Focused Tracks for Businesses and Tech Teams

Geeks on a Beach (GOAB), the Philippines' premier international tech and startup conference, is introducing new Artificial Intelligence (AI) tracks designed to help businesses and technology teams move from hype to hands-on practical implementation. Set for October 1–3, 2025, at JPark Island Resort, Mactan, Cebu, GOAB 2025 will spotlight actionable strategies for leveraging AI to drive growth, enhance efficiency, and foster innovation.

"Today, every company is turning into an AI company, but many are unsure of how to begin," said Tina Amper, the lead organizer of GOAB. "With our new tracks, we aim to provide founders, executives, and tech teams with a clear and actionable roadmap for leveraging AI to create real business impact—enhancing operations, increasing revenue, and upskilling their workforce," Amper added.

AI Masterclasses

The three-day event kicks off on October 1 with a series of masterclasses designed to provide participants with deep, practical knowledge on AI. Two distinct tracks will run in parallel, each tailored to the needs of a different team. The first track will feature hands-on sessions for technology and IT professionals. The second track is designed for business, marketing, and startup teams, focusing on thought leadership, AI-driven media strategies, and leading high-performing teams in the era of digital transformation.

The first track features a session on utilizing Gemini and Google Cloud to develop AI solutions, presented by Cleo Credo from Full Scale. Another session led by Carl Angelo Orale of Ticketnation focuses on creating practical playbooks for technology teams to achieve tangible business outcomes through AI. Raven Duran from Symph.co will also conduct a session on implementing real-world strategies for AI-augmented software development.

The second track will feature speakers Mohan Belani, Co-founder and CEO of e27 Singapore; Eli Harrell and Gladys Palarca, Co-founders of Emerge.ph; and Robert Cristobal of NxtStory Studios, California. Together, they will share insights on how organizations can strategically position themselves, harness AI for branding and communication, and lead teams effectively in an increasingly AI-powered world.

From Zero to AI Strategy

On October 2, GOAB will host a hands-on workshop led by AI technology leader Tim Santos. With over 16 years of experience in AI, MLOps, and data science, Santos has successfully bridged the gap between cutting-edge research and enterprise adoption across various industries, including banking and telecommunications.

Santos' workshop, titled "Zero to Strategy: Building Your AI Roadmap," is aimed at helping decision-makers and innovators identify opportunities within their organizations. The workshop will guide participants in transforming broad ideas into specific use cases and developing a personalized AI roadmap for the next 30, 60, and 90 days. Additionally, Santos will share insights from the Philippine AI Report Survey, offering a data-driven perspective on the current state of AI adoption in the country and highlighting key areas with significant opportunities.

With its focus on practical learning, GOAB 2025 promises to equip founders, executives, and tech teams with the tools and strategies needed to navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape and apply it to real-world challenges.
