Alibaba Cloud Named a Leader in Cloud AI Infrastructure Report

Alibaba Cloud offers comprehensive full-Stack AI upgrade for the agentic era

Alibaba Cloud, a global leading provider of AI infrastructure and the intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud AI Infrastructure report.

Alibaba Cloud believes this recognition shows its full-stack AI capabilities across a range of services from high-performance infrastructure to AI model and agent development platforms, and pretrained foundation models.

The report evaluates hyperscale vendors and specialist cloud providers “delivering infrastructure optimized for AI workloads, including AI model training, inference, and servicing.” This marks the first time Gartner has published a Magic Quadrant report on cloud AI infrastructure.

Alibaba Cloud Research Reveals Asian Enterprises Accelerating AI Adoption but Calls for Secure, End‑to‑End Solutions

99% of respondents claim AI is a priority and investment in AI products is increasing

Philippine enterprises bet on AI for growth, with 91% optimistic and 74% cloud-ready for IT infrastructure

A survey report entitled “The AI Business Application Readiness and Accessibility Survey” commissioned by Alibaba Cloud, a leading global provider of AI infrastructure and the intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, reveals near‑universal enthusiasm for AI among Asian enterprises. Among respondents, 90% describe their organization as optimistic about adopting AI.

Philippine enterprises are among the region’s AI optimists: 91% hold a positive attitude toward AI adoption, including 57% who are “very positive,” actively exploring or implementing AI. This ambition rests on a solid cloud foundation, with 74% having migrated all or most of their IT infrastructure to the cloud. Reflecting a growth-first mentality, local businesses treat AI as a growth engine rather than a cost-cutting tool: driving innovation and new business opportunities (68%) leads their strategic objectives — ahead of cost savings and efficiency (54%), customer experience improvement (51%), competitive advantage (50%) and revenue growth potential (39%). Data privacy and security is the top local barrier to broader adoption (51%), ahead of high implementation costs (41%).
