realme Philippines contributes to the rehabilitation efforts of PAWS

realme and Petsup collaborated to extend P200,000 worth of donations 

In an effort to champion animal welfare, realme Philippines has taken a step forward by donating to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), a distinguished non-governmental organization committed to the rights and well-being of animals.

In partnership with local pet supplies brand Petsup, both companies contributed P100,000 in monetary aid, alongside P50,000 worth of realme products and an additional P50,000 worth of Petsup items. 

realme Philippines representatives, together with members of Petsup visited the PAWS headquarters in Quezon City last April 30 to personally deliver the donations and gain firsthand insight into the organization's operations.

Globe, customers come together in #ExtraGDayEveryday to help solve involuntary hunger via Hapag Movement donations

As Globe celebrates the annual 917 GDay last September to give back to its loyal customers, it’s calling on subscribers to help millions of Filipinos experiencing involuntary hunger.

All Rewards points that customers redeem in engaging with any of the 917 GDay activities and offers, such as G Chance The Raffle and various GDay on-ground activations, will be matched by Globe with a donation to the Hapag Movement.

The Hapag Movement is Globe’s united fight against involuntary hunger through technology. It aims to rally Filipinos behind a collective effort to help feed the hungry.

Eastern Communications donates more than half a million to Typhoon Odette victims

Premier telecommunications company Eastern Communications pledged over half a million-peso worth of support for those affected by the recent Typhoon Odette through the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Operation Blessing.  

Committed to its call to bring back the human connection in everything they do, Eastern Communications started a pledge project among its employees. This allowed them to collect more than Php 572,000 monetary support, which they donated to the said organizations in order to buy goods in kind for affected families in Typhoon Odette-devasted areas. 

The recent virtual donation turnover was held between representatives of Eastern Communications, Cebu Chamber and Operation Blessing.  The pledged amount will be distributed by the groups in Cebu and other areas affected by the typhoon.

Moreover, Eastern Communications has extended support to its affected employees by allocating part of the pledge to them, on top of the company's calamity grant to ensure that they have the means to quickly recover.

Xiaomi Corporation Announces Donation Of USD 200,000 For Those Affected By Typhoon Rai In Malaysia And Philippines

Xiaomi Corporation today announced that World Vision Philippines and Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia will each receive a donation of one hundred thousand US dollars from Xiaomi Foundation Limited, to support those affected by Typhoon Rai in the Philippines and Malaysia.

In the Philippines alone, based on the country's disaster council, more than 870,334 families or 23,380,167 individuals have been impacted by Typhoon Rai, and over 348,642 houses damaged. Hundreds and thousands of volunteers are working around the clock to help those affected and to provide survival essentials such as food and water, hygiene kits, kitchen and cooking sets, emergency shelter kits, and more.

Vivo donates surgical masks, letters of appreciation to hospitals, front liners

In an effort to boost the morale of frontliners and further ensure their protection, vivo Philippines has given out appreciation letters and thousands of surgical masks to select hospitals through the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and other local government offices.

The handwritten letters of gratitude and encouragement, and masks were turned over to the OVP for distribution to the Philippine General hospital, and the Bonifacio Global City administration office for distribution to St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City. vivo directly handed similar donations to The Medical City Ortigas.
