I have been a victim of phone theft TWICE in one day, and that is probably the worst thing that ever happened to my personal gadgets. Which both contain my information on apps and luckily I was not into mobile banking back then. Thus I became very vigilant and paranoid when I got new phones. I did went into the hassle of changing my passwords, find back up data and also a very slim chance of catching the thief.
But it should not be the case for more Filipinos, which has now a overwhelming mobile population and connectivity to the net. However because of poor internet connection and complicated process of retrieving personal data and blocking the phone makes us accept the harsh reality that we will never have to see our hard-earned phones again.
