Your periodic table of elements just got new names for the elements 113, 115, 117 and 118. This announcement was made by IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) which considered these proposals and recommends these for acceptance. A five-month public review is now set, expiring 8 November 2016, prior to the formal approval by the IUPAC Council.
