Research by Omdia reveals that sustainable and innovative technologies such as chilled water and evaporative cooling, as well as forms of liquid cooling, are becoming more widely adopted  

Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has been ranked by technology analyst firm Omdia as the largest global supplier in a data center cooling market which continues to undergo change and innovation. The newly released research highlights that established heat rejection technologies such as Direct Expansion (DX), Chilled Water and Evaporative Cooling continue to dominate while also becoming more sustainable. In addition, new technologies, such as forms of liquid cooling, are predicted to grow as data center operators look for ways to further improve efficiency and deal with increasingly power-intensive compute.

Vertiv Launches New Line of Local Rack Access Consoles with Integrated KVM to Simplify Data Center Management in Asia

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has introduced a line of local rack access consoles, with models that include an integrated KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch. The Vertiv CLRA local rack access console features an 18.5 inch LCD panel and optional, integrated 8 or 16 port KVM. Vertiv CLRA is now available exclusively in Asia. 

The new Vertiv CLRA local rack access console is ideal for data center managers who are managing multiple sites across different locations, simplifying access and management. The console  supports high definition video resolution and includes next-generation rails that allow seamless installation into the racks without any tools. This allows quick and easy access to multiple servers, making software upgrades, troubleshooting and system monitoring more convenient and less time consuming.
