ASG Sees Growth as IT Systems and Information Management Solutions Remain in High Demand

Company exhibited and enabled resilience through COVID-19 with product innovations, a growing channel program and ongoing thought leadership

ASG Technologies, a leading provider of solutions for the information-powered enterprise, today announced strong results from 2020, demonstrating a resilience in its own business and supporting its customers to do the same. The company thrived amid the disruption of COVID-19 – including a shift to work from home that pushed IT infrastructure to the brink and major industries ingesting more information than ever before, all amid new data and privacy regulations. Key to this success was ASG’s commitment to continued product innovation, the growth and success of its channel program and a focus on engaging thought leadership.

Continued Product Innovation

As the disruption caused by COVID-19 moved employees out of the office and into their homes, the need for secure IT infrastructure and comprehensive content and data management increased significantly. It was critical that organizations had the visibility and governance tools they needed to protect their most important asset: information. To support these efforts, ASG maintained focus on enhancing its products.

ASG released significant product updates in 2020, including two major updates to the Mobius Content Services Platform. With Mobius 10.1 and 11, ASG introduced new and improved support for Microsoft365 and containerized deployment solutions to enable customers to embrace remote work demands and accelerate their cloud strategies. ASG also launched ASG-TMON® PA Scope, a modern and intuitive cross-platform IT operations and performance management solution. Finally, with its launch of ASG-Enterprise Orchestrator, ASG introduced new DevOps toolchain and value stream management support enabling IT leaders and teams to extend and scale their DevOps initiatives across platforms, including mainframe.

This commitment to excellence resulted in significant market recognition. In November, ASG was recognized for the third year in a row by Gartner, Inc. as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Metadata Management Solutions. Additionally, in October 2020, ASG was awarded its first patent for Publication of Applications Using Server-Side Virtual Screen Change Capture. The technology behind the patent will benefit enterprises moving from their legacy environments to modern remote work approaches while maintaining a high level of security, control and isolation – an especially critical need as enterprises continue to address the implications of remote work.

Customer Growth, Driven by Success in the Channel

In 2020, ASG established new customer relationships across the globe, including, IMT and Lands’ End. Overall customer growth was driven, in large part, by ASG’s continued strength in the channel through its industry-leading partners. This growth was driven by new innovative solution offerings by ASG’s partners, several new partnerships and the expansion of the ASG Business Partner Program to new markets in 2020, including Latin America and Europe.

Engaging Thought Leadership

In addition to its commitment to supporting customers and partners with its IT Systems and Information Management solutions, ASG relied on its broad bench of experts to deliver the insightful thought leadership that so many of its customers, partners and prospects were searching for to compensate for the loss of in-person meetings and conferences. The company shifted its annual EVOLVE conference to a virtual event, which took place October 6-7 and hosted 500 attendees from across the globe. Other key thought leadership highlights include:

Digital: Disrupted: Launched in August 2020, ASG’s inaugural podcast, Digital: Disrupted, features host Paul Muller having conversations with industry experts focused on the unique angles of digital transformation. Recent episodes have featured ASG CEO Charles Sansbury; host of the YouTube show Technically Speaking Scott Peachy; and Gary Gruver of Gruver Consulting LLC.

Arch2Arch: Launched at EVOLVE20, Arch2Arch is an interview series featuring conversations between ASG CTO Pascal Vitoux and ASG product architects focused on the daily challenges faced by architects, exciting innovations being explored, new technologies and solutions on the horizon.

Women Leaders in Technology Group: Based on a staple program at ASG’s annual EVOLVE conference, ASG launched an ongoing program that brings together women who work in all facets of technology from across ASG, its partners and customers and beyond. The initiative includes quarterly conversations hosted by ASG’s Senior Vice President of Marketing Mary Wells with special guests, as well as a LinkedIn group for ongoing mentorship, collaboration and insights. The next session will take place on Thursday, March 8 – International Women’s Day. Interested parties can register here.

ASG’s corporate growth and commitment to ensuring customers’ resilience and growth has not gone unnoticed in the industry. In the past year, ASG won fifteen industry awards, including the Data Breakthrough Awards’ Data Management Solution of the Year for its Data Intelligence solution; the American Business Awards’ Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year; the BIG Awards for Business’ Enterprise Company of the Year; and the Golden Bridge Awards’ Application Development Innovation for ASG-Zenith and Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year.
