Renowned photographers shared valuable insights on capturing moments with Xiaomi 13 series through offline and online photography courses

Xiaomi officially kicked off the fourth installment of the Xiaomi Master Class Supported by Leica, featuring a series of educational online photography courses taught by Leica Akademie Instructors. This season also marks Xiaomi's first collaboration with Leica on the Xiaomi Master Class program, bringing Leica's extensive photography expertise and creative vision to wider audiences. The first offline course of this season was launched on June 17, 2023, led by renowned Filipino photographers Jojo Gloria, Patrick Uy, and Melvin Anore. Additional online courses will follow in the latter half of the year.

In May 2022, Xiaomi officially announced the Strategic Partnership in Imagery Technology with Leica. The partnership's first co-engineered product, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, was launched in July 2022 and received high praise from users worldwide. The success of this product marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in mobile photography and paved the way for a fruitful collaboration between the two brands.

Xiaomi's commitment to cultivating creativity and artistic passion is demonstrated in the Xiaomi Master Class series. Led by world-renowned photographers like Matt Stuart, Charlie Clift, Hannah Reyes Morales, Alan Schaller, and others, the series has been designed as an opportunity for participants worldwide to draw inspiration from masters and hone their photography skills.

The first masterclass to kick off the fourth season of Xiaomi Master Class was acclaimed Filipino photographer Jojo Gloria, an independent and Leica-certified photographer, Leica Philippines product specialist, and in-house instructor. He’s known for his work in architecture, product and food, editorial, and events coverage, among many others. He was joined by Patrick Uy, one of the most sought-after wedding photographers in the Philippines, and Melvin Anore, a visual storyteller specializing in street photography and social documentaries. All of them shared insights on their craft and how one can utilize the Xiaomi 13 in their photography efforts.

The Xiaomi Master Class program will also feature other offline seminars, which will be held in select Xiaomi stores, Leica stores, and other locations worldwide, where local Xiaomi Fans can participate in hands-on photography sessions led by renowned photographers.

Through this program, Xiaomi aims to provide an inclusive and interactive platform to allow beginner and experienced photographers alike to explore and demonstrate their creativity through photography.
