The search for the next Asia Pacific Predator League champions is on

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals will take place from January 13 to 14, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. Twenty-six (26) teams from across the Asia Pacific region will be battling for the highly coveted Predator Shield. To lift this prestigious award, teams must demonstrate mastery of either highly acclaimed game titles, Dota 2 or VALORANT.

The Asia Pacific Predator League has been the home ground of up-and-coming esports talents. Every season, thousands of teams across the region sign up for a chance to live out the dream of winning it all in the grandest of stages. Since 2018, Predator has continuously provided this stage and continues to nurture and promote the esports industry. The Predator League has also amplified the narratives of players through various content created throughout the league.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals Returns In-Person in November in Japan

Teams across Asia-Pacific from 15 countries and territories will battle it out in-person at the Predator League 2022 Grand Finals in Japan

Games: PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS and Dota 2

Total prize pool: US$400,000

The Asia-Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals returns in-person and will take place from November 11-13 in Japan. Qualified teams across 15 countries and territories will participate in this grand finals spectacular. 

“After two years of lockdown and travel restrictions, we are so excited to meet the esports teams in-person again. ‘Become One’ is the theme for Predator League 2022, emphasizing the need to reconnect with fellow gamers and demonstrating Acer’s commitment to the gaming community,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific Regional Operations.

Leading smartphone brand vivo has been named the top 5G smartphone vendor in Asia Pacific for the second quarter of 2021 according to global market solutions company Strategy Analytics Inc. 

“vivo is the leading [5G] smartphone vendor in Asia Pacific, with annual shipment growth of 215 percent,” says Yiwen Wu, Senior Analyst at Strategy Analytics.

Rubrik Appoints Kamal Brar as Vice President of Asia Pacific & Japan

Rubrik, the Multi-Cloud Data Control™ Company, today announced the appointment of Kamal Brar as Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan. Brar will be responsible for driving Rubrik’s Asia operations. Based in Singapore, he will report directly to Chief Revenue Officer Brett Shirk.
