Newest telco player DITO Telecommunity partners with local gaming and e-sports company LuponWXC for this year’s Just ML Tournament that celebrates the exceptional talent of female gamers in the country. 

Considered one of the biggest Mobile Legends tournaments in the Philippines, Just ML is championing women empowerment in e-sports with the Just ML Female Cup which will run from November 9 – December 1, 2021. The tournament will feature over 50 teams who will battle it out in a series of rounds all showcased live via Just ML’s Facebook Page.

As the tournament’s official telco partner, DITO will also highlight the best and most promising female gamers in the competition through a player spotlight called “Women at the Speed of Life.”

DITO supports first-ever ESKYUSI Mobile Legends Tournament

The country’s newest telco player, DITO Telecommunity, is the official telco partner of the first-ever E-SPORTS KYUSI (ESKYUSI) Mobile Legends Tournament. Organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Quezon City and Grey Black Visual Synthesis (GBVS), the tournament aims to discover local gaming talents with prizes worth up to Php 500,000. 

“The SK Federation of Quezon City recognizes that gaming has become a passion for many of today’s youth.  We hope to inspire young Filipinos by providing a formal venue where they can pursue and excel in their interests and be rewarded for it,” said SK Federation Chairperson Councilor Noe Dela Fuente.

GCash Holds Mobile Legends Tournament in Support of the Local BPO Industry, PHP 30,000 Grand Prize Given Away

GCash, the nation's mobile leading wallet, held one of the most exciting e-sports competitions to grace the local BPO scene - the Mobile Legends Inter BPO Tournament. The tournament pitted six of the biggest BPOs in the country into more than 8 hours of intense 5-on-5 battles using their team's favorite heroes. The participating BPOs include: Concentrix, Teleperformance, Admerex Solutions, Shearwater Health, and Awesome OS.

A total of 36 players participated in the tournament, with the Concentrix Philippines e-sports team coming up on top. Using X.Borg, Baxia, Lunox, Chou, and Khufra at the finals, Concentrix Philippines continued being aggressive all throughout the last round, summoning the Lord to win the tournament versus Admerex Solutions’.

Commentating the event were Filipino casters Thaddeus Padua and Caisam Nopueto. They were also the casters that narrated during the 2019 Southeast Asian Games e-sports.

Concentrix Philippines bagged PHP 30,000 as champions, with Admerex Solutions’ as 1st runner up receiving PHP 15,000.
