KonsultaMD, Etiqa Philippines partner up to make digital health more accessible to Filipinos

KonsultaMD and Etiqa Philippines have embarked on a partnership to enhance digital health access for Filipinos. This initiative enables Etiqa members and their dependents to avail of free consultations from KonsultaMD.

The alliance was formally unveiled at a recent contract signing event attended by key executives from both companies, led by Cholo Tagaysay, CEO of KonsultaMD, and Rico Bautista, President and CEO of Etiqa.

With this collaboration, KonsultaMD becomes a key health partner in Etiqa's extensive network of over 1,500 hospitals and clinics across the country. Augmented by KonsultaMD’s large network of over 1,000 healthcare professionals on their platform, Etiqa members can now access a broad array of doctors and specialists through the app.

KonsultaMD, the Globe Group's innovative healthcare SuperApp, in partnership with AC Health, has joined forces with its sister entities, AC Health’s Generika Drugstore and Healthway Medical Network, to expand healthcare services for Filipinos nationwide.

The partnership was launched recently in an event at the Makati Stock Exchange, bringing together AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo, Healthway Philippines President and CEO Jaime “Jimmy” Ysmael, Generika Drugstore President and CEO Atty. Yet Abarca, KonsultaMD CEO Cholo Tagaysay and KonsultaMD COO Beia Latay.

KonsultaMD SuperApp: A game-changer in Philippine healthcare

The KonsultaMD SuperApp, a pioneering health tech initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility, was recently unveiled at the #IWantToBeHere ColorFest Run, promising to redefine the country's healthcare landscape.

The SuperApp is the next-generation iteration of KonsultaMD, a telehealth platform established by the Globe Group in 2015 that has since been instrumental in digitizing healthcare services in the Philippines.

The newly launched SuperApp is a one-stop shop that brings together several medical services from top medical apps KonsultaMD, HealthNow and AIDE, making bookings and purchases fast, seamless and easy. The app offers Konsulta Plus, an annual subscription for unlimited chat consultations, 24/7 mental health support, same-day medicine delivery via the KonsultaMD Pharmacy, and at-home diagnostics, lab testing, and wellness services. The platform also offers physical therapy, newborn and elderly nursing care services, and a concierge service for hassle-free bookings and reservations.
