In-demand Jobs Wrapped: what employers were hiring for

As 2026 begins, you may be among the candidates thinking about where your career is headed next. To guide you through, leading online job portal Jobstreet by SEEK presents ‘In-demand Jobs Wrapped,’ providing a quick look back at the roles that dominated employer searches over the past year.

Administration and Office Support remains the most in-demand role being recruited for, taking up 28.6% of job posts on the platform. Engineering roles are also among the most sought after at 10.2%, followed by Education and Training roles at 9.2%, Call Center and Customer Service positions at 9.1%, and Information & Communication Technology at 6.6%.

The partnership was officially solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during the prestigious Career Con 2025 event, held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
