Global AI Company XPENG Secures Over US$900 Million For Robotics Business Ahead Of Philippine Launch

XPENG’s robotics business raised more than US$ 900 million at a post-money valuation exceeding US$ 6.3 billion, marking what the company describes as the largest single-round private financing in China’s embodied AI industry.

The investment will support the development, mass production and global commercialization of XPENG IRON, the company’s next-generation humanoid robot.

The announcement provides a wider view of the AI capabilities behind XPENG as it prepares to officially enter the Philippine market in September with the flagship XPENG X9 intelligent seven-seater and the stylish XPENG L03 SUV coupé as part of its initial AI Mobility offering to Filipinos.

First learning center for coding and robotics opens in Manila

Nullspace Robotics PH, the country’s first learning center solely dedicated to teaching coding and robotics, formally opened its inaugural branch at the 3rd Level Uptown Place Mall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. It is the local franchise of Nullspace Robotics, the leading provider of robotics and coding education in Singapore. 

Nullspace Robotics PH offers a variety of enrichment programs aimed at introducing children, between the ages of 9 years old to 14 years old, to engineering and programming concepts through hands-on learning. Students will engage in lots of interactive and exciting activities such as building and programming robots, creating games, or working on electronic projects.
