Eastern Communications brings $150-M undersea fiber cable network to Cebu, fortifies businesses in the province

Vitalizing Cebu’s economic growth which accounts for more than half of the Central Visayas economy, premier telecommunications company Eastern Communications and its partners recently deployed the Philippines’ longest undersea fiber cable network to date in Talisay City and Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, respectively on October 13 and 14, 2022, as part of its nationwide Philippine Domestic Submarine Cable Network (PDSCN) cable project.
