Epson partners with Save the Children to help address the challenges of learning in the new normal

Epson's sustainability campaign, "Be Cool" brings eco-friendly printers to neighborhood classrooms in marginalized communities. 

Learning in the new normal has become a challenge especially for marginalized communities. The blended approach is particularly difficult for those who may not have the right tools to access educational materials which are badly needed to facilitate learning. Epson Joins National Geographic in the Fight Against Climate Change with Turn Down the Heat Campaign

Epson has joined forces with National Geographic to promote the protection of the world’s permafrost – the frozen ground beneath the polar regions of the earth – in its newly launched ‘Turn Down the Heat’ campaign. 

The campaign comes as scientists predict the world’s permafrost will thaw entirely by 2100, drastically changing ecologies, raising global sea levels, and releasing over 950 billion tonnes of methane into the atmosphere. Together, Epson and National Geographic aim to raise awareness of how people can reduce their own impact of global warming, from homes to offices and other businesses.

Epson launches first 76-inch Industrial Dye-Sublimation Textile Printer with LcLm Inks and Fluorescent Solution

Epson expands its 76” printer series and offers customers greater flexibility with the SC-F10030H, a new dye-sublimation printer that comes with two additional colour options: Fluorescent Yellow and Fluorescent Pink or Light Cyan and Light Magenta, to address the market’s fluorescent and light ink colour demand.

This new dye-sublimation textile printer is the first in Epson’s textile large format printer genre with 6 new PrecisionCore™ Micro TFP printheads and the option for Light Cyan and Light Magenta (LcLm) inks. Epson Singapore (SEA HQ) appoints first Local Regional Managing Director, Siew Jin Kiat

Seiko Epson Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Siew Jin Kiat to the position of Regional Managing Director (MD) for Epson Singapore (SEA Headquarters) effective as of the 1st of February 2021.  

He succeeds Mr. Munenori Ando who will return to Seiko Epson Corporation in Japan to take on a new portfolio.

This promotion to the company’s upper echelon coincides with Mr. Siew’s 25th year with Epson Singapore (SEA Headquarters). Epson Establishes Open Innovation Center at Aizuwakamatsu in Japan

Epson Ships 50 Millionth High-Capacity Ink Tank Inkjet Printer

CO2 emissions from consumables reduced by over 160,000 tonnes

Epson first launched high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers (now known as EcoTank in many markets) in October 2010, in Indonesia. The brand then steadily expanded the territory over which these printers are sold, expanding to 170 countries and regions by 2019. As a result, cumulative global sales of Epson’s high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers recently topped 50 million units. Moreover, by cutting down on plastic commonly used as the main component of ink cartridges,  the brand estimates that CO2 emissions were approximately 166,000 tonnes lower than they would have been if all these units had been cartridge printers

Epson Launches New High-Speed Inkjet Copiers For Busy Work Environments

Epson announced the launch of its new line head Multi-Function inkjet copier series, the environmentally-friendly WorkForce Enterprise WF-C21000, WF-C20750 and WF-C20600 copiers that help companies improve printing productivity while reducing their negative impact to the environment. The new line-up caters for a range of business sizes, from medium to large offices as well as enterprises.

The new WorkForce Enterprise copiers bring improved functionality and usability from previous models, with an improved ADF.
