LG Electronics Philippines Marks Earth Day 2026 with Employee-Led E-Waste Collection Initiative

LG Electronics Philippines (LGEPH) marked Earth Day 2026 through an employee-led e-waste collection initiative, gathering a total of 1200 kilograms of e-waste from March 31 to April 21 in support of more responsible waste management and environmental awareness.

As part of the initiative, LG Electronics Philippines facilitated the proper turnover of collected e-waste for responsible disposal through an accredited hazardous waste management partner. Employee volunteers also took part in the destruction of e-waste at the LG warehouse in Pasig City, reinforcing internal participation in the company’s Earth Day activity.

Still Running After All These Years? Lg Philippines Searches For The Oldest Working Air Conditioner—The Cool That Lasts

LG Electronics Philippines has officially launched the LG Oldest Air Conditioner Hunt Promo, a nationwide search for the oldest still-working LG residential air conditioning unit in the country.

Open from January 22 to March 31, 2026, the campaign invites Filipino households to share their stories and showcase LG air conditioners that have continued to provide cooling comfort over the years.

“Many Filipino families have relied on LG air conditioners for years, shining proof of the durability and reliability of our poducts. And, this campaign is our way of celebrating those real-life experiences with our airconditioners, truly proving how we deliver the cool that lasts,” said Nakhyun Seong, managing director of LG Electronics Philippines. “We’re excited to see how long some of these units have been running and to hear the stories behind them.”
