Globe At Home takes top spot on Netflix’s internet speed index for 3rd time

Globe At Home, Globe’s broadband business unit, claimed the top spot of the Netflix ISP Speed Index in April 2021,  the third time this year. Besting competition in January and February, the network has been exhausting efforts to deliver in its speed performance since the start of the year.

Globe constantly strives to provide the best experience for its customers and innovates to make sure that its products and services are relevant to the digital lifestyle altered by this pandemic.

Globe recently disclosed that as of March 2021, it has exceeded its targeted network site builds with 318 cell sites as well as 287,000 high-speed broadband lines installed nationwide.

In addition, the home broadband segment drove an all-time high performance for Q1 2021. The segment saw an 81% growth on home broadband subscribers to date, surpassing the four million mark.

“This result underscores our promise to continuously delight our customers by providing them with affordable internet plans, as well as relevant content packages like Netflix.
