Globe to delight consumers with exciting entertainment from Disney+

The long wait is over.

Globe, the country’s most reliable mobile network, is the first telecommunications operator to distribute the highly anticipated streaming service, Disney+, in the Philippines from November 17.

With Globe’s reliable high-speed network and extensive coverage, subscribers of Disney+ will be able to access a vast library of content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star.

“We are proud to be the first telco to distribute Disney+ to Filipino viewers who have been eagerly awaiting the streaming service to become available here,” said Globe Group President and CEO Ernest Cu.

Globe has undertaken various ventures with Disney since 2015, with both brands having their own history of storytelling that has captivated Filipinos for decades.  Globe customers have been treated to first dibs on select Disney theatrical viewings, video streaming via DisneyLife, Disney Interactive’s mobile games, and Disney Lifestyle products.

Wonderful World of Globe X: The Next Attraction Features More Entertainment Content From Partners


In the latest Wonderful World of Globe, now on its tenth event which lead to the hashtag #WWGX, held at Bonifacio High Street Cinemas, it was a apt place for the latest reveal of Globe for their future plans and their partners.

Globe has been a consistent partner of Disney which has always something new to reveal every event. We have seen them though movies, content, mobile, and lately on applications which will reach out to subscribers.

They also revealed new partners in content which represents other markets subscribers are also interested with. One of them is Turner, which is known for Cartoon Network, which will share a lot of their famous cartoons and series. Another brand is Smule, the biggest sing-a-long app in the world also gaining popularity in the Philippines.
